21st Annual NAHA Showcase
July 30-August 1, 2021
Location: Boston Sports Institute
Who will attend the Showcase?
Our program brings together players with aspirations to play at the college level for a high-performance experience. Participants come from across North America, as well as overseas.
The Showcase is open to PLAYERS OF HIGH SCHOOL AGE (entering grades 9-12) & PGs. As college recruiting has become earlier each year, we're opening up spots to rising 8th grade players as well- click here to email Showcase staff to inquire about 8th grade players or call 781-591-0462 with any questions.
Each year our Showcases attract more and more attention from college scouts- representing EVERY college conference and level in the US. NO OTHER SUMMER PROGRAM PROVIDES THE LEVEL OF EXPOSURE AND OPPORTUNITIES TO DEVELOP RELATIONSHIP WITH COLLEGE COACHES AS AT THE NAHA SHOWCASE.
Colleges attending: Yale University, Princeton University, Nazareth College, SUNY Plattsburgh, Dartmouth College, RPI, Northeastern University, Williams College, UCONN, RIT, Holy Cross, Middlebury College, Boston College, Penn State University, Suffolk, UNH and Syracuse
This Showcase provides value to the participants:
- An opportunity to receive excellent instruction
- Train and compete with other elite players
- Teams coached by college coaches
- Teams' size are kept small
- Plenty of ice time for each player
- College coaches get quality evaluations of all players
- Coaches get to personally know players
- More off ice seminars/info than other alternatives
- College coaches run practice & small games tourney
- 5 Showcase games
- All at a reasonable cost
Players are placed on teams for the Showcase and assigned college coaches. They have the opportunity to develop a relationship with the coaches, and even if it's not a school on their wish list, they have a great resource following their time with them. Their experience in practice and during games is guided by coaches with experience at the college and national level of women's hockey. Teams are kept small so there is plenty of game/ice time for each player and the Showcase limits the number of participants so all players get quality evaluations from the scouts and are not lost in a crowd.
"Both the players and staff enjoy this format more than any other camp I've worked at. It's great to really get to know the girls on and off the ice. I recommend this as THE best opportunity for HS student-athletes entering the college selection process." Scott Wiley, former Head Coach, Colgate University
“The Showcase was very helpful in exposing my daughter to college coaches, and helped us sort out the college process, which we knew little about. It made a difference in my daughters life." Tara, Ontario
“The NAHA Showcase is an excellent program. Practices, off ice sessions, small games tournament, 2 games a day- everything you could ask for!! We’ve been to the others, this is simply the best- affordable, productive and packed with good information.” Mark S., Edina MN
“This had just the right amount of ice time, plenty of chances to learn from the best coaches, to ask questions, and learn about college recruiting. It really helped me going into my senior year.” Katie , AK
