A celebration of life was held today at the Scotiabank Place, Ottawa Senators arena, for Daron Richardson, daughter of Sens coach and former player Luke, and Stephanie Richardson.

 Daron died in a suicide over the past weekend at her home. She was very close with many at NAHA, and Luke and Stephanie are close friends of ours, Luke having helped out with summer programs at NAHA, and Daron and her sister Morgan frequent summer campers. She also grew up with several of the girls with ties to the Ottawa area, and Ali and Bridget were featured in the photo from the celebration, showing a card with best wishes from many of the girls and staff at NAHA. Thanks to Ali and Bridget for carrying the thoughts of all of us at NAHA to the Richardson family (not pictured but there also, Emma Rutherford).
