Opening faceoff for the new league that NAHA was the impetus behind and formed over the summer. A great start for what we believe is the future of girl's hockey in North America. We believe female athletes deserve to be treated as athletes with elite aspirations, given the same resources and opportunities as boys, and if those don't exist, we'll work to provide those opportunties to our student-athletes and also to change the landscape to reflect our mission. The ceremonial opening faceoff for the JWHL- Founding member organizations Washington Pride and NAHA at UVM: Pride Captain Alisa Harrison, Director Kush Sidhu, NAHA's Bill Driscoll and Captain/USA U-18 Brooke Ammerman.
