NAHA Elite Development Camp Information

General Information-Elite Deveopment Camp

Room & Board
Lodging: At the NAHA campus, Jay Vermont; 24 hr. supervision by NAHA staff and counselors; 3 meals and snacks provided daily.
Transportation: provided to/from rink, activities in NAHA busses.

Hockey & Off-ice program
Hockey: Minimum 4 hours of ice per day, including full ice 4v4 scrimmages and 2+ off ice hours of programs.
Ability Level: Limited enrollment to 36 skaters and 4 goalies; recommendation from current coach, college coach or national team coach required unless waived by NAHA staff. The athletes in this camp are treated as elite athletes and expected to arrive in excellent physical condition, prepared for a demanding athletic experience.
Video: A variety of presentations to enhance on ice curriculum.
Strength & Conditioning: NAHA Sports Performance program.
Off-ice skills: daily use of NAHA’s off ice skill development system.
Competition: During the middle weekend of camp we plan to host teams for games on Saturday and Sunday.

Fees
Camp fee- $985

Schedule: The daily schedule can be downloaded at the bottom of this page.
Check in 3-5PM on July 29; dinner and evening activities that day. Check out and departure after skating on August 5; ice ends at 11AM, campers may leave from the rink, or return to NAHA and depart.

To register: If you didn't receive an application- fill out the on line application, and follow up with an email to: register@winter-hawks.org with:
 name, Team, level of play, hockey honors you've received; if we are not familiar with your level of play we will need a coach's recommendation - preferably this would be from a college or national camp coach with whom we have a relationship. if not, please forward from you team's coach, and also list previous camps you've attended or been invited to. Please do not register without going through these steps.
