Coach Mike Cox meets his Showcase team

Coaches are encouraged to distribute invitations to girls who fit the profile for the Showcase.
Cost: $485; cancellations before 30 days of the event will be refunded less a $25 processing fee; cancellations within 30 days of the event will only be refunded if a replacement player can be added from the wait list.
Format: Individual registration only. All players will be split up into teams for the Showcase. Each team will consist of 9 forwards, 6 defense, 2 goalies. Teams will be coached by one of our college coaches, assisted by a college and/or Olympic athletes.
Ages: AGAIN IN 2013- THE SHOWCASE IS OPEN TO HIGH SCHOOL AGE PLAYERS (entering grades 9-12) & PGs.
Lodging: This is not an overnight camp. Participants are responsible for their own room and board; participants use local hotels and stay with families during the event. The Showcase secures special rates at hotels close to the arenas, and convenient to other area attractions. Please check the Showcase Hotel page for more information. As an alternative, some families choose to camp in the area.
On ice: Team training sessions; small games tournament. Round robin tournament (6 games guaranteed), including Championship and Consolation games. Goalie-specific sessions.
Off ice: Instructional sessions on Strength & Conditioning for the Female Hockey Player; The College Recruiting Process- presented by College Admissions and College Athletic Department personnel; A round-table discussion: College Coaches on Women's Hockey Today (includes Q&A session for parents and players). Ample time is provided to tour area DI and DIII colleges.
Area Colleges: There are many colleges within easy driving distance. Many coaches will be on their campuses during this week as it is a great time to visit as part of your college decision process. You should call ahead to make appointments with coaches. Area Colleges: University of Vermont (5 min.), St. Michael's College (10 Min.), Middlebury College (40 min.), Plattsburgh State University (45 min.), Dartmouth College (1:00), New England College (1:30), RPI and Union (2:40), St. Anselm College (2:15), St. Lawrence Univ and Clarkson Univ (2:00), University of New Hampshire (3:00), and Williams College (3:00), Castleton State (1:30), Norwich University (30 min.).

The opening day of the NAHA Showcase features our Small Games Tournament. It's a great way to kick off the Showcase, as the players get to compete, socialize, meet new friends and teammates, and begin to work with their team coaches, who are all women's college coaches.
