Our success at the Academy is thanks to the support and efforts of our special community members. Parents, students, alumni and friends have joined together on so many occasions to offer their time and talents to NAHA. We welcome the participation of all members of our community.
Whether it's at one of our Volunteer Weekends, games, tournaments or other activities, we invite you to join in and get involved. Your efforts truly make a difference. Volunteering for NAHA is a great way to meet other families and show your kids you're interested in the NAHA Community.
Questions about Volunteering at NAHA:
We're a lean organization, meaning we don't have a lot of staff and we run a tight budget. We've always received support from parents and friends with some tasks that save us from spending extra dollars and allow us to organize events. We also think that volunteering is a terrific (and fun!) way to build our community and help student families meet one another.
Great, we're pleased that you're interested. One of the activities we're planning are Volunteer Weekends and events where we ask parents (and students!) for help.
Depending upon your interests and skills, we may have you paint, move furniture, work around the campus, in the gym, at the rink or even wash windows! The tasks vary each year and there's a real range of what's needed. For our events, we will have specific needs and have sign-up sheets.
