North American Hockey Academy

One of the most important ways you can show your support for NAHA is through a donation to our Annual Fund.

Did you know that tuition does not cover the actual cost of the Academy experience? Often people are unaware that tuition, fees, and room and board provide only a portion of our operating revenue. Annual Fund dollars make up the rest and enable us to make valuable program and facility improvements.

Annual Fund Questions & Answers

• How can I contribute after Academy bills?

We understand the significant expense of this experience and recognize that not all families may be able to make large donations. Donations of any amount are truly appreciated. The number of people who support us financially is a significant measure of the strength of our community. Participation, at any amount, is vital to our ongoing success and we hope that all members of our community – present and past families, students and friends will support us. Strong levels of participation are proof to charitable foundations of community belief in us and may enable us to secure grants in the future.

• Are contributions tax-deductible?

Contributions to the Annual Fund are tax deductible, as NAHA is recognized by the IRS as a 501 (c) 3 corporation.

• How much should I give?

We have Annual Fund gifts that vary from $10 to $10,000 and each gift matters. We're a small, but growing, school and that means that your gift takes on even more meaning given our relative size.

• Can my gift be matched?

Yes, if your employer has a matching gifts program. It's best to check with your Human Resource Dept. to see if such a program exists. NAHA is a Vermont approved, non-profit educational institution.

• What is your goal?

Our Annual Fund goal this year is $50,000.

• How do I make a donation?

You may send a check, payable to North American Hockey Academy, to 3430 Mountain Rd., Stowe, Vermont 05672. We are able to accept credit card donations as well.
