The information regarding NCAA requirements applies only to Division I candidates. Please bear in mind NCAA core course requirements when registering for your classes. You must keep track of the courses you have taken during all four years of high school. Core course requirements are increasing for students graduating in 2008 and after from the current 14 core course to 16 core courses. All courses must have been taken while enrolled in high school. You may have taken Algebra or Spanish in middle school, and they may count towards your high school diploma, but the DO NOT count towards your NCAA minimum core course requirements.
Please also remember that different colleges have different admissions requirements. Check the admissions policies at schools you would like to attend. You might find that some require four years of math or four years of a foreign language. Make sure your course list reflects these requirements.
