Academic Director, Lou Garcia
In July 2011 Luis (Lou) Garcia was named Academic Director for the North American Hockey Academy. Lou obtained his B.A. from the Florida State University and his Masters in Psychology from Johnson State College. He specializes in sports psychology and has worked predominantly with local junior golfers. Lou has also worked as a school based clinician in traditional and alternative schools in the Northern Vermont area.
Lou brings an enthusiastic and energetic presence to NAHA and will motivate and provide valuable support to our student athletes. His goal as well as NAHA’s is to provide an experience that focuses on the mental, physical and emotional development of the athlete.
