NAHA Alum succeed in college and beyond!

 Former NAHA studen-athletes excel across the college ranks. We're proud to announce this year's end of season awards, and will post more as the different leagues release their information:

Special Recogntion:

 The University of Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletics department recognized both the athletic and academic acheivements by honoring its 750 student-athletes in a Golden Goldys/Scholar Athlete banquet, tonight at TCF Bank Stadium. The event marked the fifth year of the Golden Goldys and the 22nd year of the Scholar Athlete banquet. 

 Women’s hockey student-athlete Kelli Blankenship was the recipient of the Richard “Pinky” McNamara Student-Athlete Achievement award for her ability to “inspire all by making an extraordinary effort to succeed despite difficult circumstances.” Kelly has overcome numerous obstacles and made tremendous academic and scholarly achievement during her time at the University. She plans to apply for entrance into the professional program of Dental Hygiene.
