“The best summer hockey camp I have ever attended. I have never experienced such an improvement in my skills and knowledge of the game happen in a camp… and I’ve never had more fun! |
Simply the best!!”

Why Choose NAHA Camps? |
This camp is all about teaching the most important and usually least taught skill of all, THINKING THE GAME.
We have brought together coaches that all believe— |
“You can teach hockey sense.” |

Using small games to provide numerous repetitions,
players will learn winning personal and team tactics in
both offensive and defensive situations.
Here are some of the concepts we focus on as our
Points of Emphasis:
Overspeed Training: We stress Working out of your Comfort Zone, with and without the puck.
Skill Development: Work on fundamental skills and Position-Specific skill training.
Puck Possession: How and When to possess the puck, and make good decisions with it.
Puck Support: How to Support the puck, in all three zones, offensively and defensively.
The Team Game: How puck support and using the width and depth of the ice benefits the team.
Players will start each day with a series of skill drills to enhance their abilities in the tactical games played each day. Good fundamental skills are required- if you have questions, please inquire.
Concepts and tactics learned through small games and small area skills will be reinforced, enhanced and challenged with 4v4 full ice games.

Our trip to Alaska for our camps is special because of the great people, including our hosts in Anchorage and Fairbanks, and our many friends who we reunite with each year. Ginny Berg '06 and her dad Randy, proprietor of Rod 'n Real Charters, shared some time with us on the Kenai.
